Wackywombat.net isn’t really about any wombats. We’ve not even seen one in real life (though we plan to when we finally get to visit Australia). We just like the animal – furry, stumpy feet, square poop and all.
Wackywombat.net comprises two of us, Au Yong & Tse Wei. We both previously had our own separate blog sites, but after a while, because our lives are often intertwined, we ended up blogging about the same stuff! So we thought, “hey, why not just ONE blog?” And here we are: wackywombat.net
So who are we really?
Au Yong Tien Chee – a 29-year-old guy Kuala Lumpur. Currently based in Singapore after spending the last few years as a geeky salaryman in Tokyo, Japan. Highly passionate about (spectator) sports — especially football, F1 racing and pool — and great food!
Ng Tse Wei – a 27-year-old gal from Petaling Jaya, who has been living in Singapore for far longer than she had initially expected. Crazy about music, loves the movies, advocates shopping as a form of therapy, and enjoys long walks and taking photos around the city.
And what do we write about?
It’s quite obvious by now that the precise study of the life and habits of Australian wombats will not be a specialised topic on this blog. We, however, write about everything else that happens around us – from momentous events down to the minute daily observations, from silly rants to serious discussion on politics, from sports to shopping and food.
It’s really more of a on-and-off online diary to mark down the interesting moments of ours lives. Coz really, who even uses pen and paper diary and photo albums these days?
